Below are the seniors available to sponsor for Coffee County. If you would like to sponsor one or more of the seniors please click on the sponsor button below each listing, fill out the form and click SUBMIT. You will be emailed an acknowledgement with the information you need for the senior you have sponsored. If you do not receive an acknowledgement email, please call SARCOA.

Gifts will be collected at the former National Guard Armory (2755 Choctaw Street in Dothan – at the intersection of Westgate Parkway and Choctaw Street, turn onto Choctaw Street and enter through armory gate to blue warehouses in back of lot) on Saturday, December 7, Friday, December 13, and Saturday, December 14, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. SARCOA case managers and volunteers will deliver gifts to the seniors before Christmas.

Client is a 71-year-old female living alone in Coffee County. Client has a monthly income of $896. She suffers from COPD and high blood pressure among several other health conditions. She also has issue with her sight which requires the client to received shots in her eye every 2 months. She enjoys looking out the window watching the birds, and watching TV with her cat who provides emotional support. She also enjoys cross stitching. Your expression of love would allow for the client to have a joyous holiday season.

Client is a 59-year-old female living with family in Coffee County. Her monthly income is $959. Client suffers from Hyperglycemia, Dyssomnia, Hx of Pulmonary Embolism, Asthma, and HTN. She is unable to stand for long periods of time due to becoming dizzy and tired. She must keep her feet elevated when sitting to maintain circulation and to relieve back and neck pain.  She recently hurt her foot and that has further hindered her mobility.  The client remains cheerful despite of her health.

Client suffers from Tremors, Chronic Kidney Disease, Degenerative Disc Disease, Anxiety, and Insomnia.  He is unable to stand for long periods of time and has a history of falling. The client is always working on some kind of home project from repairing pots and tools, to hand cleaning carpet.  The client is primarily homebound.

She is primarily homebound and enjoys reading her Bible and Bible related books, when she is not watching television.
