Below are the seniors available to sponsor for Coffee County. If you would like to sponsor one or more of the seniors please click on the sponsor button below each listing, fill out the form and click SUBMIT. You will be emailed an acknowledgement with the information you need for the senior you have sponsored. If you do not receive an acknowledgement email, please call SARCOA.

Gifts will be collected at the former National Guard Armory (2755 Choctaw Street in Dothan – at the intersection of Westgate Parkway and Choctaw Street, turn onto Choctaw Street and enter through armory gate to blue warehouses in back of lot) on Saturday, December 6, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.; Friday, December 12, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.; and Saturday, December 13, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. SARCOA case managers and volunteers will deliver gifts to the seniors before Christmas.

Client is a 58-year-old widowed Male living alone in Coffee County. He has a monthly income of $1564. He suffers from many medical complication including diabetes, neuropathy, seizures and fatigue He uses a walker and a wheelchair to navigate inside his home. He is a nice and loving guy. Recently, he lost the love of his life after 15 years of marriage. He is sometimes lonely but he enjoys the company of his support dog. Your thoughts and kindness would be appreciated, and it will allow him to have a better holiday season.
