Building Better Lives: Providing Ramps

Many of today’s aging Americans are choosing to stay in their homes as long as possible. A home’s structural design and overall accessibility can go a long way toward allowing older individuals and those with disabilities to maintain independence.

SARCOA is stepping in to help. The Neighbors for Seniors program is to ensure that no homebound person in the Wiregrass area goes without an access ramp for their home because of financial reasons or physical ability.

How can I help?

Below you will find a list of projects that currently need attention. Click on each box to reveal a client description and need. Once you have looked over the list of needs and feel your group has identified a project that fits your skills, please contact our office at 334-793-6843 and reference the case number listed below.

We realize that not everyone can physically do the work or has the skills to do the job. However, there is a way that you can help. You can make a donation to help cover the cost of materials and supplies needed for the projects. No donation is too small or too large and can be made online by using a credit card or PayPal and clicking the Donate button below.
